WELCOME!

“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, both now and forever!” (2 Peter 3:18)

Why are we here today? Partly to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” according to 2 Peter 3:18. That verse goes on to say that when we do that, Jesus receives “the glory, both now and forever.”
Isn’t it exciting to think that what we’re about to do will have eternal significance? Today we’re going to sing songs, utter prayers, and listen to a Bible message. Those things will last only for the time of worship, but the spiritual fruit resulting from it will last forever!
Join me, then, as we invest in eternity!
Pastor Tom

God, What Do You Require of Me?
Join us tonight in a fun hour as we continue our Life Talks. Bring a friend as we discuss how Christians should live. Come and discover what it means to stand before God with a clear conscience.

Wednesday
In His Image
Join us in all the backyard fun in our summer Bar-B-Que pool parties as we continue our monthly series on Following Jesus. Bring a friend, a towel, and meet us at The Cepedas’ again (10847 S. Malcolm just outside of Dinuba). Come discover that deciding to invite Jesus Christ into your life is a very important step. But it’s just the beginning, and we must learn how to get to know him better through discipleship.

All but one of our meetings will be moved to Thursdays due to our youth serving in VBS:
·      Thursday, July 9: the Cepeda home
·      Thursday, July 16: the Flaming home

Here Comes the Flag!
Here comes the flag,
Hail it!
Who dares to drag
Or trail it?
Give it hurrahs—
Three for the stars,
Three for the bars.
Uncover your head to it!
The soldiers who tread to it
Shout at the sight of it,
The justice and right of it,
The unsullied white of it,
He blue and red of it,
And tyranny’s dread of it!

Here comes the flag!
Cheer it!
Valley and crag
Shall hear it.
Fathers shall bless it,
Children caress it,
All shall maintain it,
No one shall stain it.
Cheers for the sailors
Who fought on the wave for it!
Cheers for the soldiers
Who always were brave for it!
Tears for the men
Who went to the grave for it!
Here comes the flag.
